I currently a senior at the University of Pennsylvania. I am majoring in Computer Science with a concentration in Data Science and a minor in Math. During my time in college, I have tutored and taught underserved students in Computer Science whether they were prepping for the AP exam or first time coding. As humans get technologically more advanced, I am a firm believer in introducing Computer Science earlier in education. Computer Science can be used in almost every field out there. Although I have a plenty of experiences teaching Computer Science, I have also tutored students in STEM subjects, in particular math and physics.

I am a graduate of the University of Phoenix. In 2012 I received my Master's in Business Administration and my life hasn't been the same since. After graduation I began a career in finance and banking. Along the way I have been a financial advisor, licensed stock broker, and a district executive for a regional bank. Currently I am working as an analyst for a digital marketing firm. I love statistics and how businesses and leaders can gain better understanding and make more informed decisions with the use of analytics. I am also passionate about the power of education because I have seen firsthand in my own life how transformative education can be. In my spare time I enjoy playing music on my saxophone, participating in martial arts classes, and getting outdoors with my family on hikes or bike rides.

I am a book author and cultural anthropologist with college classroom teaching experience in the social sciences. I have helped academics and college and graduate students with essays, theses and papers with a focus on bringing out their strongest ideas and making their writing accessible and clear to the reader. I have experience working with people whose first language is not English and recently helped turn papers that had been rejected for publication into articles published in the best journals in their field.I enjoy empowering students to do their best work by breaking down the work of writing into achievable steps. It's exciting to help them discover and bring to light the ideas that are often buried in their notes and thoughts.

I founded and led a tutoring program though my four years in high school that connected high school tutors with peers, middle school students, and potentially students from an underfunded local elementary school in attempts to make academic help more accessible. I tutored in a number of different math classes at the time. In college, I worked with a tutoring agency to teach 6-12 year old student Python, Java, Scratch, and Web Development. My goal is to help you learn concepts and solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Hi students! I am originally from Chicago but have lived in Santa Fe, NM since 1997.I have a 17 year old daughter and 15 year old stepson and I know this past year of learning has been difficult. I want to help!I have been told I am funny and easy to talk with so I have that going for me aside from being an English and special education teacher. For two years, I taught English 101 residentially and online at my alma mater. My decision to study English was motivated by my love of reading and writing stories, and I enjoy tutoring because it enables me to help students understand what they read and express their thoughts effectively in their writing. I have taught for over twenty years most recently as a professor of Law and Criminology at UB. I also lived in Hong Kong and taught test prep to some of the world's most aspirational students.
