I'm a Rice University biochemistry major and GSMST (Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology) graduate where I took 15 APs/college-equivalent courses, including AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, Multivariable calculus/linear algebra, Differential equations, AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism, and AP Chemistry.

I am a rising junior at Boston University majoring in Psychology. I have experience tutoring middle schoolers one-on-one in algebra and writing. I am also fluent in Korean, and have experience teaching elementary and middle school students Korean. Tutoring is a very rewarding job for me; I feel a rush of excitement when I help a student finally understand a concept. Therefore, I am a very thorough instructor, and am determined to help my students using every possible resource and method. Furthermore, I have had extensive experience being tutored throughout my academic career, and am well aware of the value of a good tutor. I still remember the amazing tutors who worked with me tirelessly, and I can still recall the exact moments when they made everything click for me. I am a undergraduate freshman of the University of Michigan, studying business at the Ross School of Business. Working together with students and having a good time while seeing steady improvements has proven to provide me great joy. I believe that communication and relationship building is crucial for students to open up about their struggles and also for me to identify problems they don't realize they can improve on, so this is a key aspect of all of my lessons. During my free time, I enjoy playing sports or snacking on desserts while binge-watching Friends!

I am a graduate from UCLA and currently working as a CPA; however, I have been enjoying time to teach the Korean language and culture when I have extra time. Hobbies: books, hiking, reading, music, writing, art

I am a senior at the University of Michigan majoring in Biology and on the predental track. I have been teaching middle school and high school students for four years in the suburbs of Illinois, and I was a volunteer English peer tutor in my high school. I tutored Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, SAT, English, Biology, Spanish, and a wide variety of school subjects. I enjoy teaching all types of Math, English, and SAT the most. I also love editing and reading essays. As a kid, I loved writing. It was my way of putting my most genuine self out to the world, and I want to be able to help others do the same. Furthermore, I would love to help students struggling in STEM classes. Many students struggling in STEM classes especially feel that they are not "smart" enough, but the simple fact is that no one is perfect. Everyone has room for improvement, and a little help from someone else can be all it takes. Since I went through high school and a year in college, I love being able to lend a helping hand to younger students struggling with classes or standardized testing. I believe everyone can succeed, and I want to help students reach their potential.

I am interested in both math and science, while in my free time enjoy fishing and woodworking.

I am generally available all throughout the week (morning, day & night), provided that the schedule does not conflict with my class schedule. I will be avialable generally all year-round except during the breaks due to reasons mainly related to internship & my personal schedule.

I am excited to tutor students of all ages in a variety of academic and test prep areas. I was raised in the U.S. and am a native English speaker with a diverse educational background. I attended preschool through 11th grade in the U.S. and received my high school (international baccalaureate) diploma from an international boarding school in Hong Kong. During college, I studied Mandarin Chinese and Korean. I completed 6 months of study abroad in South Korea. I have extensive 1:1 tutoring experience. In college, I worked as a teacher and private tutor for Korean high school students applying for US colleges. As a graduate student, I served as a reading interventionist for K-4th graders for 2 years. I have previous test prep experience as an ACT class teacher and private tutor for a national company. My most recent tutoring experience was for a high school junior in Minneapolis. We worked on homework completion, mostly for the student's Beginner Mandarin class.
