I completed MBA in CyberSecurity in 2018. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Computer Science in May 2014. I am a software engineer during the day and love everything having to do with math, science, and computer science. My reason for wanting to become a tutor outside of my day job is to help educate the minds of the future. Learning outside of the classroom is very important. As a tutor, I look forward to being an engaging educator, as well as an important learning asset for each of my tutees. As an educator, I have experience tutoring many ages and learning levels. I started tutoring in high school with one student and, by word of mouth, received more students. I was a tutor in college for math and computer science. I look forward to working with each student and prepare lessons based on each students individual needs. Please allow me to be a part of your educational experience!

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Physics degree (Bachelor of Science) in May 2015. I currently live near campus and look forward to tutoring students in the area. I love teaching and helping with math and physics! I also have a strong writing background that comes from independently-publishing a novel, so I am happy to help you with the flow and format of your writing assignments. (I m also a bit of a grammar Nazi.)Interesting things about me: I researched solar cell development in Germany for a summer (ich spreche ein bischen Deutsch), was a quarterfinalist for the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award (2013), and I collect bookmarks. :)

I am a law student seeking to help fund my living expenses while I go to school. Before I entered law school, while I was getting my master's degree, I tutored a variety of high school subjects and the SAT and ACT. I enjoy tutoring immensely, and after nearly eight years of doing it, I have developed a repertoire of tricks that help my students learn more easily. I particularly enjoy tutoring high school math and physics, Spanish, and literature, but I have experience in most subjects. I know many, many words :-)

I attended Birmingham-Southern College for my undergraduate studies, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After working for two years, I attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, earning a Ph.D in Genes and Development. My studies there were focused on Immunology, Cancer and Genetics. Since graduation, I have worked in the biotech industry, lectured in Microbiology and am currently doing research on vaccine development.I enjoy one on one teaching, and just discussing science in general. It's always a thrill when the light goes on for someone. I am a follower of all fields of science and technology, and try to incorporate new ideas into my work at all times. In my spare time, I build computers, read history and science fiction and go to movies with my wife.

I am a graduate of St. Edward's University; I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication and my Masters of Arts in Human Service/Public Administration. Following graduation, I joined Austin Community College as an adult education instructor for GED and ESL students. In addition to adult students, I also provide tutoring to children and teens needing the necessary fundamentals for academic progress, or those seeking to proactively increase their understanding of a particular subject. Although I teach the four core subjects in the classroom, I primarily tutor in the areas of Math and Reading Language Arts. I especially enjoy teaching Math because I deliver the subject content in a manner that students are frequently amazed at their ability to grasp what they previously believed to be difficult mathematical concepts. I have also effectively assisted students prepare for standardized exams, whether state mandated grade-level tests, or college-level entrance exams. My teaching style is a combination of coaching and cheer leading. Like a coach, I have high expectations for my students because I prepare them using best practice subject content drills and exercises; and like a cheerleader, I excitedly celebrate every progressive effort towards their academic goal. Students - young and old - respond to my style because they want to successfully conquer their academic challenges themselves. I have lived in several countries, and have traveled to a few others; thus, I have a genuine appreciation for diverse cultures and customs. In my spare time, I enjoy tennis, swimming, and relaxing in the tranquil surroundings of my park-like backyard.
