I am passionate about helping students because I believe education is a powerful tool for both personal growth and social change. Over the past decade, I've had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of students in history, social justice, and humanities, designing inclusive curricula that meet individual needs and foster critical thinking. I hold a BA in Education and American Studies from Smith College and am currently working towards a Master's in Teaching Leadership at Mount Holyoke College. I tutor history, social studies, and writing, with a particular love for U.S. History and Women's Studies, as I am deeply committed to exploring these subjects through an intersectional lens. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive, student-driven environment where curiosity is nurtured, and every student feels valued. I use a flexible, student-centered approach, incorporating discussion, project-based learning, and real-world connections.
