I am a current college student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am a junior student studying psychology and cognitive science. Since I was in high school, I have been involved in clubs that offered peer tutoring. I also began to offer tutoring personally in high school and have continued to do so since entering college. While I am passionate about academia overall, I am most interested in Pre-Calculus, American History, and English. In my experience with helping other students prepare for standardized testing, such as the SAT, we seem to see the most improvement in mathematics portions; however, I feel that I can convey all information in an easily digestible way. I am a firm proponent of education, as I believe that it is essential for people to be informed. I try to impart critical thinking to all students, rather than just rote memorization of facts. In my spare time, I am often reading, learning, walking, or hiking to enjoy what nature and life have to offer.

I am extremely active and love being outdoors! I often hike with my boyfriend and my dog, Koda (he's a Yorkie!) I live near my college campus so I walk tons of trails. I also love cooking and reading. I spend time cleaning and organizing (it may not sound super fun, but I really enjoy it!) I'm really passionate about learning and am always watching new videos or reading articles about anything.
