I'm a former philosophy professor at a community college and current lawyer who loves to work with teenagers and adult students on LSAT prep, world religions, writing, ACT and SAT prep, public speaking, and similar subjects!

I attended the University of Notre Dame, graduating magna cum laude with dual majors in political science and in theology. From there, I went on to Duke University, where I attended both law school and seminary, earning a JD and an MTS. After that I practiced law, taught philosophy and world religions at community college, ran for local office (I won, and served a five-year term), and worked as an online community manager. I love tutoring because I get to work with students on subjects I'm passionate about teaching, while setting my own schedule so I'm home when my kids get home from school. I live outside Chicago with my husband, three children, and a one-eyed rescue cat who thinks she's a pirate.

I believe every student can learn to write a competent five-paragraph essay! And if you're taking the LSAT, I am the logic game whisperer!
