Would you like to know more about my teaching philosophy? Then, please read on:

I strongly believe that lessons should be student-centered and driven by both the needs and experiences of the student.

My role as the teacher is to act as a support network and guide to inspire my students to further pursue learning and skill development on their own, too.

This requires active learning whereby I urge students to explore content we are studying with the support of my subject matter expertise.

Active learning means that every one of my students is held accountable to not only memorize information but also process and use the information in a productive way that shows they have mastered the goals of lessons.

In the interpretation and production of content, students are also urged to share and integrate their own experiences and perceptions of the world to the lesson so as to make lessons more meaningful to them.

The purpose of this is to inspire you to learn even outside of our lessons by connecting what we learn to your own life and philosophy.

Therefore, it is my hope, as an educator, that you trust me enough to not only follow my recommendations but also share what is and isn't working for you in our lessons.

With your continued feedback, I can continue to adapt to your needs and modify lessons in such a way that will lead to optimal learning for you.

In the end, lessons and learning are not about me. Our lessons are, in fact, about you.

I look forward to working with you on developing your skills soon!
