Certified Tutor

I graduated Summa Cum Laude with Bachelors in Electrical Engineering in 2013. I’ve also received Department Honors for Academic Excellence in Mathematics from the Chairman of the Math Department. I’ve attained many other accolades that I am truly thankful for.

Teaching has always been my one true passion. I have over seven years of tutoring experience, in the US and overseas. So, my multilingual and multicultural background helps me cross such barriers and connect with students better. Due to my vast experience, I’ve developed sophisticated communication techniques and understanding of students’ psychology that helps me pinpoint and help overcome the academic weaknesses with swift precision.
I think it’s more important to lead students to the answer rather than simply delivering it. This instills the logic behind the answer and the process, and helps them think independently and analytically. Where appropriate, I employ the Suzuki method and have found that to be very effective.
I mostly tutor math, reading, and writing courses. I am very experienced with test preparation subjects such as SSAT/SAT and ACT. Please see my profile for a full list of subjects.

In my leisure, I like to dabble in music. I’ve studied Music Theory in my early years, and I play multiple musical instruments, including the piano. Music still remains a creative outlet for me.
I also strongly believe in giving back to society and setting a good example, so I actively partake in philanthropic endeavors. Currently, I serve as a Board Member of the United Nations Association in Miami.
