ISEE: Impressed with the student's vocabulary story, showed cohesion and comprehension of words. Reviewed rounding, mean, median, mode, percentages and ratios. The student understands the question, just small mistakes here and there when working multi-step problems. Homework: complete at least first page of percentage & ratio worksheet. Vocab: exasperated.

We reviewed the online physics assignment as well as the remaining free-falling objects questions on her homework. The student is understanding the material very well, especially the basics. She could use some practice setting up more difficult problems, but she has the basic ones mastered.

We reviewed troublesome Arithmetic questions from the review materials. We began working through Algebra concepts and further practice with a prep book of basic math concepts. The student will continue to work on the prep book materials between sessions.

The student has a geometry exam tomorrow that covers relating congruent/supplementary angles in shapes/parallel lines. We went over a few review sheets that her teacher passed out. The student seems to have a solid understanding of how to work out the problems, especially once the problem is set up and the rest of the work is pretty much like algebra.
