I am a veteran educator with over 20 years of experience. I earned my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. I earned a Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction in Mild/Moderate Special Education from Xavier University of Louisiana. I went on to earn my School Administrator Licensure at Gardner Web University. I completed my post-baccalaureate study in Special Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte before earning my Educational Specialist (Ed. S) and Doctor of Education (Ed. D) degrees in Educational Leadership from Wingate University. Over the course of my career, I have served as a Special Education/Exceptional Children's teacher, Inclusion Specialist, Instructional Coach, Academic Facilitator, and Assistant Principal, in Louisiana, South Carolina, and North Carolinamy experience in the classroom and as an administrator includes elementary, middle, and high school levels. I also have several leadership endorsements from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education and Harvard Business School.
