Did mostly reading today with a focus on getting individual words correct. He can easily identify words and pronounce them, but tends to not put in the effort to try when presented with an unfamiliar word. I can see spelling to be a possible issue for him in the future when encountering words that are more difficult.

He did very well inferring meaning in the text. He can still improve on reading with expression and sounding out difficult words.
