Tutoring review by Nathan in Hartford, WI
The student and I reviewed her study guide for an upcoming exam. We focused on the problems she was having the most trouble with- graphical solutions to systems of equations, resulting force vectors, numerical solutions to systems of equations, and the application of trigonometric functions, among other topics. She has a really great foundation for the material and she clearly has a good grasp on the topics. Her main focus during the upcoming test will be on checking over her work, and remaining on the lookout for minor mistakes. The student was a joy to learn with and I look forward to seeing her progress.

Tutoring review by Tara in Hartford, WI
We met on Monday this week. The student completed a full practice exam at his school last week. He had also completed the reading and math sections of the practice SAT I had left with him. He did well on these, although he struggled with one of the reading passages. We read it together in depth and went over the questions again--this time he was able to answer them correctly.

The student was working on implicit differentiation. She understands the concept but the algebra was very rigorous requiring multiple manipulations of algebraic expressions. She performed well but each problem is very time consuming. Overall the student is performing well with the rigorousness of the course.
