I graduated with my Associate's Degree in English from University of Wisconsin Colleges in 2018 and am currently working on my Bachelor's Degree in English Education. I've been wanting to teach since my middle school teacher showed me just how much fun you can have in a classroom. This teacher sparked an interest in writing that's continued to this day. While in school I had the amazing opportunity to work in a 2nd grade classroom as a teaching assistant as well as tutor elementary school students in reading and writing through Kid's Ranch. I was also a writing tutor at the University of Wisconsin Superior's Writing Center working with my fellow college students to help them with their essays, discussion posts, resumes, cover letters, presentations, personal writing, and many more written works for school, work, or personal use. While working in the writing center, I also worked with students learning English as a second language.I tutor English or Language Arts as well as reading and writing. I've worked with many different students and as a neurodivergent student myself, I know how important it is to work to each individual student's strengths to help them achieve everything they want to. I've never met a student that couldn't be helped or taught with the right teacher or tutor.Outside of school, I enjoy working on my own writing projects, rereading my favorite books, and playing games of Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. I also spend plenty of time outside with my dog and kitten, who seems to enjoy our walks more than the dog!

Hello! I am recent grad from UW-Madison in Mathematics. I love teaching math because I am a firm believer that everyone is capable of understanding math and helping students realize that within themselves is incredibly gratifying. I particularly like teaching calculus because that's where math starts to get fun, students begin developing a type of thinking that I affectionately refer to as mathematical freestyling.
