I am currently a Special Education Teacher in Racine Wisconsin. I teach at a Math intensive school. Due to the requirements of my job I supplement multiple courses, Pre Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Biology, and English. I have done countless interventions in Math and English. I love building a rapport with students, and enjoy the challenge on solving how that specific student learns.

I am very passionate.

I am willing to address any issue with an open mind and I try to develop strategies that play to a student's strengths. I would like to think I am very approachable and personable, and I have had very positive experiences with many students in the past using this philosophy. Outside of academics, I love playing basketball and watching sports, as well as chilling with friends, listening to music, and keeping up with politics and current affairs.

I am not of the mind that my students should go off and do whatever they wish. But I sure am of the mind that when my student wants to rap her final instead of give a presentation, because that's how she feels she can best succeed, that she should go ahead and soar!
