I am a graduate of University of Windsor. I received my Bachelor of Applied Science Enginering with a focus on Electrical Engineering and Math's. Since graduation, I have traveled extensively for professional work and obtained my MBA Finance as well. Teaching has always been my passion since university days where i would help my juniors with concept learning. I have been Teacher assistant in my University covering variety of subjects. I have been home tutoring and mentoring students in all Sciences and Math's. As part of visiting faculty member for LSE, i have been teaching undergrads focusing on Business Math's, Algebra, Calculus. I have been supporting and doing volunteer note taking activities for special children during my university days. I have obtained many certified trainings among which Functional safety and Lean Sigma Green belt is worth mentioning. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students.

I am an aerospace engineering student. I am very passionate about teaching math, physics, and chemistry. I realized tutoring was my calling while working as a tutor at my school. Seeing students gain a greater understanding of the subject was the highlight of my day while working there.

My sense of humor follows the 80/20 rule: 80% of my jokes work about 20% of the time. When I teach a class, if I haven't made them laugh at least once then I've failed. I know what it's like to suffer as a math student. Math was my hardest subject in high school and even made me cry sometimes. When I got to Calculus, though, everything came together and I came to see the beauty in mathematics. I continued this cycle of suffering followed by joyful understanding when I studied math in college and then grad school, and now that I'm finally out of academia, I can relax and share my experience with others. When I engage in an hour of private tutoring I tend to go over-time by around fifteen minutes if I need to do so to wrap up whatever we were working on. Teaching is a passion, a calling, and a compulsion for me.

I believe anyone can do well in school. I believe timelines aren't for everyone, but I believe that progress should be judged as a function of effort, a function whose derivative is always positive :)

I love helping students in topics related to math, to finance (public and private equity) and to engineering. I believe that if I can't explain concept, then I don't understand it. By that same token, if a student can't explain a concept back to me, then they don't understand it even if they say they do. I love helping people! Whether it's learning math, writing, reading, etc. or playing sports, I really enjoy seeing other succeed via my assistance. Hi! My name is Carson. I graduated Cum Laude from Baylor University in 2018 with a degree in Russian (minors in math and physics) and I hold an Associates of Science from Big Bend Community College. I have been tutoring since 2013 at college, high school and middle school levels. I tutor all levels of math up to calculus II, as well as Russian, introductory chemistry, physics, special relativity and beginning quantum mechanics, but Russian and calculus are my favorites!
