I have earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in BioChemistry and Mathematics from Wayne State University. Currently, I am working towards a Master of Arts in Teaching, Mathematics Education (Secondary) through Western Governors University. Over the last eight years I have worked with students as a piano teacher, track coach, cross country coach, math tutor, and substitute teacher. Experiencing all of these different teaching environments has solidified my passion for working with students. In addition, I have seen first-hand the defeat students feel when it comes to math. I hope to help students build self-confidence in their ability to learn and understand these concepts. In my free time, I enjoy running, crafting, watching movies, and playing the piano.
