About Me

I am a current student at Wake Technical Community college and prospective Neuroscience candidate. My love and joy for tutoring children stems from early exposure to childhood learning and development through my mothers daycare. I held my first position as a teacher's assistant here. While I am able to tutor a broad range of subjects, my particular interests are in math and science. As a student researcher, I understand the need for support in these subject areas where many children may struggle. In my experience, meeting the student where they are and keeping them engaged through fun iterations of the required learning material is a sure way to promote success in any subject. I am a huge advocate for pursuing higher education, not only for its obvious benefits such as improved quality of life, but I also find that high achievers can serve as an inspiration and driving force for future generations. In my spare time, I enjoy reading health/scientific articles, crossfit exercises, and trying out new recipes.
