I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology. I also received my Master of Arts in Missions & Discipleship with a focus on youth and young adults from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary. While there as a graduate assistant, I taught a class for three semesters. I've mentored at-risk youth as well as tutored K-12.I love teaching because it's so rewarding to see students succeed, get excited about, and conquer subjects they used to struggle with, hate, or feel defeated by. I also love the problem solving involved in to work with students in finding new ways to help them learn based on their individual needs so they understand themselves better.

In my free time I enjoy running, hiking, and learning. I'm quite fond of anything that gets the wheels in my mind to turning.
