About Me

I am profesora Shriner and teach all levels of Spanish and Conversational and AP Spanish. I have been teaching Spanish for 30 years. I was born in Peru, but I live half of the year in Arizona and the other in California. I hold a master's in education, which includes 18 credit hours in Spanish from the University of Kansas, and a second master's degree in Romance Languages and Literature, with an emphasis on Spanish and proficiency in French, at the University of Missouri. I am certified teacher in AZ and SC.What drew me to teach at Varsity Tutors LLCC is its delivering of excellence of online classes, and I have been teaching online for over ten years; I am excited to match expertise with Varsitys mission and goal. I taught for Trident University, Johns Hopkins CTY, Maricopa Community College, I worked for the University of Arizona, Missouri Western University, Columbia University, Barnard College in New York City. I have a very eclectic approach to teaching which keeps my classes interesting, and the students excited about learning! Looking forward to have you in my class.
