About Me

I hold a BA in English and an AA in Education. Reading and Writing are my strengths. I have been tutoring with Varsity Tutors since March 2022, focusing on the following subjects: Writing, Reading, ESL, Essay Editing, Academic Research. Unless otherwise requested, I create individual curriculums and lesson plans for students to focus on what they need help with most. I taught at Kumon Math and Reading for over a year, working 1:1 with students aged 3-18 on diverse English material. I used my TEFL Certification while teaching ESL (Writing Composition) to high school students in Thailand and to adult learners in Italy and Spain. English is a subject that I enjoy digging into, and my mission is to help students of any age build an understanding of it. Challenging my mind and developing self-awareness are daily activities for me. I thrive on helping others to learn and grow too. In college, I took an intense-study year of Dietetics Technology, including a semester of interning at a hospital, before changing majors. I also worked as a Dietary Aid for 3 years in a hospital.
