About Me

I hope to defeat poverty all over the world. I will one day build homes for homeless people and those living in impoverished countries. I believe having a stable home is the foundation for success in all areas of life. As far as my educational background, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Sociology. While in college, my favorite classes were my upper-division, writing based courses, related to History and Sociology. I love writing research papers. Before switching majors, I was a science major. So I have taken calculus, biology, and chemistry courses. I was placed right into calculus due to my UT Math Placement Exam, testing me out of pre-calculus. If a student needs help writing an essay, I will be able to help with creating a strong thesis statement, citations, and organizing the paper. My first job out of college was an in-class math tutor for middle school students who were behind in their grade levels.
