I'm currently pursuing my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been a tutor since the age of about 15 or 16. I used my hobbies to tutor very young children in music (piano, clarinet, voice), sports (cheerleading, tennis, dance), and art (crafting, painting, public speaking). After high school, I became a peer mentor and volunteer teacher. I tutored 4th and 5th-grade math and worked as an assistant kindergarten teacher while in college working towards my BA in Journalism/Pre-Law with a minor in child development psychology. I have been teaching professionally since 2018. I have continued to work with K-12 in Reading, Writing, Music, and Performing Arts. I have a vision for equality in the world, and I believe this happens through equal access to information. Knowledge is power, and equipping students with it is the passport to a better future for our world.
