Throughout college, I was an undergraduate teaching assistant for biology, and I also worked as an elementary and high school tutor. As a medical student with a background in English writing, I am not only experienced in the biological and chemical sciences but also how to improve one's writing ability. After graduation, I worked as a student research assistant where I conducted qualitative research and gained experience in academic writing. I also have published fiction, poetry, and personal essays. Currently, I tutor a number of subjects, but I am most passionate about Biology, Chemistry, and English. I also work as a medical school admissions consultant, and I love helping students apply to their dream medical programs and making the process as stress-free as possible. I am a very compassionate, hard-working tutor who loves to incorporate practice problems, analogies, and study strategies into my lessons. I also understand that not everyone has the same learning style, and I am very adaptable! In my spare time, I love to write, run, cook, and explore the city of Pittsburgh.
