About Me

Hello! My name is Simi. I'm currently studying Architecture at NYIT( Newyork Institute of Technology). I enjoy drawing and teaching. I've been tutoring elementary and middle school students in Math, reading, English, comprehension & Art for 2+ years. I have also tutored at workshops, orphanages, and elementary schools( gifted ) as well as my own independent tutoring business. I take joy and pride in helping students and seeing them exceed their goals. I have seen how students improve and feel more confident after just one session of private tutoring! I have also struggled with math in the past, so I can definitely relate to students who may find the subject challenging or feel their class is going fast. I believe I'll be a useful resource to students who feel out of place in class and need help to fill that gap. I'm able to adapt to various students' learning styles. I also provide students with worksheets (as needed) that aid further understanding.
