While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Language Arts Writing, and Critical Thinking. In my experience in helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, I see a lot of progress in all subjects when I weave in games with skills practice. I am a big proponent of individualized lesson plans that focus on the child's strengths, interests, and areas that need improvement. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, yoga, walking trails, and the fun, free events in Austin.

I enjoy my local library and reading everything I can get my hands on. I have practiced yoga for 20 years. My kids and I enjoy walking the trails and getting frozen yogurt on hot days.
