I was certified to teach in Michigan and Illinois, and taught in both states. I have also taken classes in cognitive research, which has helped me understand how to teach most effectively so that students and properly understand and retain the information that they're learning. Because I've taught many different subjects and age groups, I have a broader understanding of teaching and learning than most educators, which helps me find a particular way to best help the individual student.

I enjoy playing soccer, reading, and running.
