I believe children learn best when they can have conversations about their learning. I encourage learners to explore, ask questions, make guesses, and grow by doing and experiencing. I have a graduate degree in education with focus areas in language arts, gifted education, and educational technology. I have taught elementary school for 9 years and have worked with students at all ability levels. I am passionate about teaching students across the curriculum and enjoy helping learners see connections between math, science, social studies, and reading. They are all connected!

I enjoy yoga, hiking, and climbing. I love to be outside and explore new areas. I also like to read and garden as well as spend time with my family.
