After realizing that I didn't have the moves to be the next Janet Jackson, I decided to pursue my passion for Shakespeare and become an English teacher. It has become a rewarding career for me because it has allowed me to travel the world, develop deep relationships with my students and become an innovative thinker. I am now transitioning to the world of Special Education and I am excited to see where this will take me. After 15 + years, I still get excited when entering the classroom at the beginning of the year. In the last few years, I have become more focused on creating partnerships with outside organizations to provide existential learning opportunities for my students. When not trying to make the world a better place, you can catch me at Old Town School of Music trying to encourage my son to be the next Prince or binge-watching a supernatural show on Netflix. I look forward to connecting with you!
