About Me

I am able to create a hands-on, active, and creative environment that focuses on each child's individual learning needs. Prior to my current position, I taught 5th grade and was the assistant coach for the Math Olympiad team. These experiences, as well as my background as a paraprofessional working with disabled and non-verbal students, have enabled me to develop a unique teaching style that is supportive of the diverse learning styles and needs of all students. Throughout my education experience, I have been able to polish my people skills, thus improving collaboration with fellow educators, communication with parents, and individual interactions with children.
