About Me

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in May 2016 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a sub-option of Neurobiology. I started tutoring 2011 while I was still attending high school, mainly for middle-school and high school math. I also have experience working with elementary school-aged children so I am used to breaking down larger concepts into more bite-sized pieces. My current focus is in the natural sciences, particularly in Biology, which most of my undergraduate education focused on. During my time as a college student, I went through many different trial-and-errors for academic success. I found that the most effective way to learn and memorize a large sum of information in a short time was to make the essential connections between the subject matters. I hope to teach in this manner, helping to connect the dots and impart these habits so that my students can continue to be successful in all academic ventures.
