About Me

What I like most about tutoring is the opportunity to individualize the learning process for each student, as everyone learns differently. From 8th grade until my senior year I was homeschooled. I did not realize the advantage of my personalized curriculum until I went to college. Being homeschooled gave me the great gift of a genuine love of learning. I try to inspire this love in my students. I enjoy seeing people thrive and grow and understand that patience and positivity goes a long way. I look forward to helping you take your education to the next level. I have experience working and volunteering with pupils of all ages, ranging from 4 to 35. I have worked one-on-one and in small groups. My favorite moment in a session is when a student lights up after they finally understand the material. Students that require additional attention are especially excited when they are able to cross the bridge from unsure to sure and it is a really rewarding thing behold!
