I have over 25 years experience teaching kindergarten through eighth grade students with a wide variety of aptitudes and needs. Most recently I held the position of math and science middle school teacher, which allowed me to use diverse math curricula employing a range of philosophies. This experience has given me the ability to teach any concept in a variety of ways and allow the student to practice skills in a variety of contexts. I understand how important it is for students to become proficient in skills that are being taught today to ensure success in math in the future.
