I graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in music education.
After graduating I worked with a nonprofit organization called City Year where I worked as a tutor, mentor, and role model.

About Me

Our mission was to work with students and create individualized curriculum to fill skill gaps and make sure students had the opportunity to be successful. I believe in putting in the extra time to make sure that I teach toward each student’s learning style. I understand that all students learn at different paces in different ways and make sure that each student is getting their best education. One-on-one tutoring situations are ideal for making sure that’s possible. I am patient, inquisitive, enthusiastic, and look forward to helping you reach your goals.

I believe in instilling students with the skills to be independently successful. How can you help a student become an independent learner? I can make sure that the student has all of the skills they need, including confidence, the ability to break down problems, and the persistence to keep going.
