About Me

I'm a PhD in the molecular sciences. Although I've done a lot of schoolwork, I appreciate the difficulty some students have with difficult subjects (mine was Calculus), and trying to concentrate when studying is the last thing I want to think about. My goal is to help you plan out your studies so that you can maximize your potential with the minimum amount of work. Sometimes it's hard for some teachers to break down a complex topic for burgeoning learners because they themselves approach it from a higher level and can't think at a low enough level. After a year of science outreach in high-need Nashville public schools, I've found that I have a knack for breaking down complex concepts to an easy-to-digest format that incorporates math and literature comprehension into real scientific problems. Fortunately, the more I learned about a subject matter, the easier it has been to find meaning and see how it fits into a bigger picture. I want to help you understand things in a big-picture way with real-life examples (usually in the hard sciences). This hopefully will help you with comprehension and memorization.
