About Me

Currently enrolled in Los Angeles Community College, I am able to always be practicing my study skills whether it is by myself or with a Varsity Tutor client. I am working towards transferring and eventually receiving my Bachelors in Spanish and Environmental Science. I have been tutoring elementary and middle school students in various homework subject for five years now. Being only twenty myself, I find relating to the students very easily which in my opinion, is the greatest way to helping a student understand a lesson or an assignment. Besides tutoring, I have been lucky enough to design and teach my own curriculum for a summer high school course called "Spanish for Travelers."Outside of academia, I enjoy reading, watching, playing and analyzing basketball. It is a sport, along with soccer, that has represented tranquility and family passion since I was a child. In addition, playing cultural music on my tenor saxophone has been a big part of my identity since fourth grade.
