About Me

I am a teacher with a highly qualified license. I am currently teaching 5th grade accelerated students. Teaching is a great passion of mine! I am truly inspired by being a part of the academic and personal growth that students experience; it is priceless! I have experience in working with accelerated G.A.T.E (gifted and talented) students, as well as students who are struggling below grade level. I strongly believe that many students simply need a different perspective when trying to understand certain concepts. Whether it may be fractions or literature, I am trained in advancing my students to reach that next level within their learning process. My goal as an educator, is to guide students in determining their strengths and weaknesses and to coach them on self-discovery, so they may find ways to improve!
