About Me

I love to help students make the connections needed to master their material. As a Jr. High teacher of gifted students, I have worked with many types of learners and have a wealth of strategies to make instruction exciting and engaging. I have worked with struggling and ELL/ESL students each summer in a variety of grades K-8. I taught 5th grade gifted for 7 years and have enjoyed working with many ages of students. Many of my students enter the local IB program, and it is my responsibility to ensure they are prepared. My past students have attained many scholarships and are across the country in a variety of challenging academic programs.
