About Me

In 2009 I graduated summa cum laude from Providence College with a Bachelor of Arts in history and secondary education. I am certified by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to teach history for grades 7 through 12. For the last three years I have been employed at the United Teen Equality Center, a non-profit organization in Lowell, Massachusetts that provides services, opportunities, and supports for 'at-risk' and 'proven risk' youth between the ages of 16 and 24. While working in UTEC's educational wing, I have taught high school history classes in partnership with Lowell Public Schools and served as the organization's main adult education instructor for youth enrolled in the workforce development program. I've also developed curricula across five different content areas. When I'm not teaching, I read, write, and support the mighty Arsenal in their latest Premier and Champions' League campaigns.
