About Me

Education has been a passion of mine for quite some time. During college, I worked with Upward Bound – an incredible federal program that tutors and mentors high schoolers aspiring to be first generation college students. During my career, I’ve mentored students through several programs in the Greater New York Area. Whether it is as a tutor, coach or mentor – students have always been a part of my life as a professional and volunteer. My educational background is a BA in Political Psychology from Claremont McKenna College and an MA in Communications from Fairfield University. Written and verbal communication is a great strength of mine as both an academic and professional – English, History, the Social Sciences, etc. With that being said, I have worked with students of all ages on a variety of subjects. To me, mastery of a subject is a great accomplishment, but the greater goal should always be refining your broader skills as a student and scholar. These are the overarching characteristics that allow an individual to be adaptable and flourish in a variety of academic and professional environments. In my spare time, I like to stay active, travel and enjoy the outdoors.
