About Me

I'm a teacher and tutor living in Sedona, Arizona. I'm a licensed Secondary Education teacher, and I've tutored everything from Elementary math and language arts through upper-level literature and composition. Growing up in the Sonoran Desert brought me close to folks from many kinds of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I'm a fluent Spanish speaker and I love working with students who are learning a second language, be it English or Spanish. I bring a passion for teaching and learning to all areas of life. I'm particularly excited about meeting each student's individualized learning needs, using non-traditional teaching methods to learn with a sense of play and discovery, while still meeting our academic goals.
