I am currently pursuing my Masters of Education through the University of Notre Dame while teaching high school math and social studies. I'm Kelly and I love everything about language. I became an avid reader at a young age, and it's stuck with me my entire life. My favorite stories are those that engage both intellect and emotions. And I love the infinite possibilities that come with constructing a good story. I'm honored to serve as a teacher and mentor to all my students!

I'm fairly new to formal tutoring but I've been helping my five children with their homework for the last 18 years. I consider math and science my favorite subjects, with physics being one of my most favorite. When I'm coaching a student, I believe in a very tailored approach which encourages and strengthens the knowledge and skills that a student has and then adds the information that is needed to succeed. Rote memorization is not my strong suit, I believe in really understanding the underlying organizing principles. In my other job I design houses, and when I'm not doing that I love to read, and hike and do some woodworking now and then.
