PSAT Tutoring review by Colette in Maywood, IL
We reviewed the student's practice test, with an emphasis on the critical reading and essay. We reviewed what a 6 and 5 grade essay looks like, and devised some strategies for coming up with ideas on the spot. PSAT Tutoring review by Jonathan in Maywood, IL
We started going over the reading section. Her vocabulary could use some work, so I introduced her to some study skills for that. Another issue that I identified was point of view questions. They tend to confuse her as to who is being referred to. We also spent a significant amount of time going over when to guess.
