Certified Tutor

Hello! My name is Angeles, and I have recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Biomedical Sciences. This upcoming fall I will begin a one-year Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Currently, I am applying to medical school, in hopes of pursuing a career as an Osteopathic Physician.

As it is clear, my life and career revolved around my education, and most of my work has encompassed academia. From the time I was in middle school, I began tutoring my peers in small groups after-school. This was the start of path as a supplemental educator: classroom setting tutoring in high school, working at a tutoring center my senior year, and providing in-home private tutoring throughout college.

I strongly believe in teaching each student specifically to their educational needs, but also tailored to their individual learning habits. I personally always find that I learn the most when the topic is related to my life outside of the classroom (or lecture hall). I then can assess how much I truly have attained when I attempt to teach the concept to another person.

These are just a few things about me and my views of teaching. I look forward to where my journey may take me via this opportunity.
