My name is Roger Mori, and I live in Las Vegas, Nevada.My education includes a BS in Mathematics from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and two AS in Information Technology and Computing from the College of Southern Nevada.My work experience consists of software engineering and coding instruction. I have worked as a software engineer for Herlinda, Boldpenguin, and Lone Wolf Technologies. In addition, I am a coding instructor at a prestigious coding Bootcamp.My motivation for teaching encompasses using my real-world experience to help my students avoid the same struggles that I faced.Every student has unique learning habitssome students like hands-on exercises, others like more lectures. So, My teaching philosophy starts with knowing the student's learning method; then, it focuses on comprehending the problem and ends setting an adequate balance between theory and practice. During the session, I team with the student, and we work together to accomplish the goal.

I graduated with a degree in Psychology and minor in Computer Science. I am a credentialed computer technician currently with CompTIA and Dell. I've earned CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ and Dell Certified System Expert Certification thus far. I have experience in the industry with computers and networking. My skills include network security, setup, and troubleshooting whether it's proxy servers, IPS, HIDS and NIPS. I am efficient with operational system troubleshooting which can including malware removal, device configuration or security hardening devices by using internal/external antivirus software. I have experience teaching children and adults from the ages from 6-24. I have taught elementary school, high school and tutored adults in computer systems and college prep. Much of my teaching style is regimented in repetition and I help students understand concepts by using real-world analogies. I integrate repetition in my lessons because it will help you retain the information better and remember the analogies we talk about. My objective is to help students recall information instantly to be better prepared for any test or course work.I'm always open to answering any questions you may have. Thank you
