Each of these subjects are master courses in critical thinking, which is one of the most useful and versatile skills you can learn--both in and out of academia. If I can teach a handful of students to think critically, I will have led a fulfilling life.I'm comfortable teaching writing and reading to students at any level and/or age. I am especially good with people who have learning disabilities. I've done well in school despite having ADD; I've developed many strategies for managing ADD in an academic setting, so I am well equipped to tutor someone who struggles with paying attention and/or managing time.I graduated from Lewis & Clark College with a B.A. in English in 2013. Since then, I've worked in marketing, publishing, and teaching. I've tutored elementary school students and I've taught college classes in composition and creative writing at Indiana University, where I am currently working on my MFA in poetry writing.
