I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Middle school education and Learning Disabilities from UW-Eau Claire. I completed my post-baccaulaurate degree for Deaf/Hard of Hearing education from UW-Milwaukee. I received my Master of Arts in Education from Viterbo University. I have been a teacher for 26.5 years. I was a general education teacher for 12 years and a teacher of the deaf/hard of hearing for 14.5 years. I believe that all students can learn. I teach students age 3-21. I not only love teaching, but I love learning as well.

I continued my education at McNeese State in LA and completed my Masters in Biology Education in 1994. I have taught in Louisiana, Colorado, and Texas. Teaching is my passion and I have taught for 35 years and attended a variety of classes throughout this time. My primary focus is science but I have interests in English and have taught this subject. I have experiences with high school and middle school students. My experiences include accelerated learners and challenged learners. I have taught face to face and virtually. I can work with one student, several students, or a class. I have a good sense of humor and I will often add it to the learning experience.

I am a first-year student at Wellesley College studying Neuroscience. I'm eager to help students build confidence in subjects that can feel overwhelming at first.
