After working internationally with global volunteers in a third world country to develop teaching English, childcare, and medical projects; I want to help inspire students here at home to broaden their horizons. I believe that every willing student is capable of grasping the material. However, it is crucial that the teacher finds an effective way to communicate the material to the student in a teaching method which is catered towards the student's learn abilities. Languages were an area in school in which I always had difficulty, but I was able to achieve bilingualism. Being that I struggled with this content area when I was in school, I can often sympathize with students, and help them to develop a strong understanding. I am also currently working with a local GEAR UP program in which I teach, tutor, and mentor, high school students. Giving up coming generations a better future has always been a passion of mine.

I am a passionate learner who has studied studied Spanish, math and science at college, went on to learn Japanese on my own and eventually studied business at the graduate level at UCF. Informally I study history and culture and love to read. I taught English, Reading and Writing in the Japanese public school system for nearly 5 years from 2001-2006 and know well the satisfaction that comes from seeing a student succeed. I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and at this moment am taking an online digital marketing course through the University of Illinois.It's this passion for knowledge coupled with my belief in the importance of helping others that makes me such a great tutor. I have learned a lot in my 37 years and would like to pass this knowledge on to the next generation.

I am currently rounding up my Doctor of Business (DBA) degree program. She is responsible for leading her teams through the planning, strategy and execution of financial statement audits. Many of her clients operate within various industries, giving her true exposure to unique circumstances, issues, and resolutions. Jacqueline looks to seize new opportunities to upskill digitally in an evolving technological world and leverages her growing knowledge to enhance the audit experience for her engagement teams, as well as her clients. Jacqueline is certified in Tableau as a Desktop Specialist, and obtained the Advanced Alteryx Certification. She is familiar with Google Analytics and Google Data Studio.

I am a graduate of the University of Florida where I received a Bachelor degree in Finance with a minor in Economics. I also have a Master's in Professional Accountancy from Montana State University. I first started teaching while at the University of Florida. While attending UF I taught SCUBA classes to my fellow students. Later I went on to teach adults at a private dive school. Throughout my career I have taught seasonal staff up to CFO's various accounting and finance skills. While attending Montana State University I was selected to be a graduate teaching assistant, where I kept office hours for all accounting courses. During my last job I taught the new associates various software and tax topics. While learning business concepts I believe it is very important to see the big picture. It can be very easy to get lost in the details of calculations, but its important to understand how everything fits together. When not working I enjoy sailing all around the Seattle area as well as hiking. I also spend a good deal of time trying to learn my fiddle.

My technical expertise include Cisco technologies, cloud computing, and cyber-security. My background in science and my experience in ESL give me an advantage to teach these subjects better. The students in our days are not very much interested in the field of science, i think i can make the subject interesting that will make the student take science classes.

I am a commercial real estate agent in Round Rock, Texas. I moved to the Austin area in August, 2015 from Hawaii. I lived on the Big Island of Hawaii for 5 years, where i owned and managed 3 coffee shops and a coffee roasting business. I have also worked at the University of Idaho in Web Communications and for a family owned equipment dealership in New Hampshire.In my time off, I can be found cycling, hiking, and working out at the gym. I also build and maintain WordPress websites for a few small businesses. I have also picked up photography as a hobby.

I am an honors graduate student studying Master of Accounting at the Ohio State University. I have been tutoring in several positions over the past few years, including working as a Statistics Teaching Assistant for the Fisher College of Business and volunteering for the National Honors Society. Going into the public accounting route, I am most passionate about math and business subjects. I enjoy tutoring because I like seeing students making progress and fulfilling their goals.
