Certified Tutor

I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Journalism with a minor in Business Institutions at Northwestern University. I am passionate about helping students because I believe education is one of the most empowering tools for personal and professional growth. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a student grasp a concept they once struggled with, and I aim to create a supportive environment where every learner, no matter the learning style, can thrive.

My experience working with students began during high school, where I tutored peers in English and Math. Since then, I've gained experience working with students of different age groups, helping them improve their writing, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. I have also mentored younger students, guiding them in academic planning and study strategies.

I tutor subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Spanish. Among these, my favorite subject to tutor is Spanish, as I enjoy helping students express themselves in an entirely new language.

My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and adaptability. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my approach to suit their individual needs. I strive to make learning engaging by connecting concepts to real-world applications and fostering a growth mindset in my students.
