I double majored between Math and Computer Science in Birmingham, AL at Birmingham Southern College for my bachelors. Now, I'm currently doing my PhD in Applied Mathematics in Chicago. I'm doing my PhD, because I think that I can do more in both Math and Computer Science. So Applied Mathematics, is a good choice.

I tutored a lot when I was little in Math and even tutored my classmates in Mathematics while I attended Birmingham Southern College. I can tutor any topic in Mathematics from K-12. As for college, I can tutor students in Math courses such as Calculus I-III, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Real Analysis, and Discrete Structures. I also have tutored students for the Math portion of the SAT, ACT, and GRE. As I have experience taking the ACT for when I was applying for colleges and GRE for when I was applying for graduate school programs.

My favorite subject in Mathematics to tutor is Calculus, because of just how useful Calculus is for all sciences and I've always had a great experience with this topic. My tutoring style is very hands on with imagery. Me and my father are very good at imagining how things work in math, which helped me gain cognitive skills for math.

My philosophy is that students would love math, as long as they have great experience with whoever their teacher is. I struggled at reading and writing growing up, and while I was in college, my professors worked with me on writing and reading different articles. Now, I don't hate reading and writing, because I had great experience with them. So, I think that with my experience in the field I struggled in growing up, would work the same way for everyone.

Outside of academics, I'm a gamer that usually plays Pokmon Go and Minecraft for example. Those 2 are the main games that I play, but I also play other games. I do write a bit of poetry. I also program for fun, because there are certain projects I like to work on of my own. But I absolutely love robotics. I even went to see robots fight at the BattleBot arena in Los Vegas. I loved the explosion, destruction, etc.
