Hi, I'm Darby! I recently graduated from the University of Birmingham with an MA in Creative Writing. In 2021, I graduated from Butler University with bachelor degrees in English (on a creative writing track) and Spanish. I also studied history as a minor and was a part of Butler's honors program. I'm currently living in Nashville.
My background in tutoring includes extensive experience as an ESL (English as a Second Language) tutor, being a teacher's assistant for college-level classes, and teaching a creative writing camp. Additionally, I have the global seal of biliteracy for Spanish and studied abroad in Spain for four months. I'm passionate about community engagement and creating fun and exciting classroom environments, so I love connecting with students!
